Education, Training and Learning

Education Statistics provides useful information on the education sector from parent and students, to educators and administrators, to researchers and decision makers. It will also be useful to other stakeholders who might not be directly involved in the education sector, but who have interest in the national development of Antigua and Barbuda and who would like to get a feel of where and how the country is progressing.

The data collected and evaluated includes enrollment ratios, teacher's qualifications and status, students distributions in schools, results of examinations and public expenditure on education among others. The collection process is a collaborative effort that enlists the resources of the Planning Unit within the Ministry and all educational institutions across
the state as well as other stakeholders.
